Sir David Dalrymple
Born @ 1655 in Drummerchie, Ayrshire, Scotland and died in Dec. 3, 1721 in Scotland. He was married to Janet Rocheid on April 4, 1691. He may also have been married 1683 to another. Janet was born @1670 in Scotland.

What makes the general consensus that Andrew is Sir David’s son?? Is there any secondary proof?

There is nothing completely absolute beyond my grandparents in this blog. Most of the information I have gathered comes from sources I have found on the web. I am hoping to find more information by putting up this blog. I do plan on researching this more and will post any findings that I get. Thanks for the interest, you have rekindled my enthusiasm.

Good. I have this drive to find something. I was told in Salt Lake that it could not be done, which of course makes me determined to show her worng. Keep in touch. Have you tried Ireland? Thought that it will be my next move.
