Robert A. Word(Oliphant)
November 25, 2007Born December 14, 1893 in Batesville, Ms. as Robert Oliphant. He had his name legally changed to Word following the birth of Charles Robert Word, Jr. on February 26, 1945*. He died on April 20, 1961 in Memphis, Tn. He was married to Fay Jones and they had 2 children, Charles Robert Word and Drucilla Word Moxley.
He was about a year old when his parents separated and eventually divorced.
